gamrSnack - The Launch Window

What I wrote when the comic first posted on 24 March 2011
The Nintendo 3DS launch is right around the corner and the buzz around the internet is that the launch line-up isn't very good. This, of course, is forgetting how lukewarm launch lineups typically are. Regardless, it is easy to be negative and even easier to make fun of it.

My current thoughts
Huh. Well this is the last gamrSnack I ever made. The ideas were fine but the time wasn't there. If you couldn't tell from my super sketchy humantype characters I was just not able to make quality stuff with only an hour of free time a week.

Still, it is fitting to go out on Nintendo characters trapped in a Superman reference. Also funny because we still haven't gotten Kid Icarus or Kingdom Hearts 3D yet.

Loooong explination
For a while I tried to make a webcomic series for a website that I occasionally write video game reviews for. The point was to pick a news article from their newsfeed and make a joke comic about it. It was fun but frustrating because I cannot draw fast with any quality, I'm much better with 3D art. I tried to keep up with demand but eventually between school and work something had to give. So I dropped the webcomic that was destroying my little free time and I wasn't getting paid to do. Go figure.

Anyway, I randomly happened upon my original image files and I figured, why not put a few of my favorites on here? Even though they weren't all gems, There are at least a dozen that I still laugh at. I'm also adding the original words I put with each of the comics when I originally posted them, since most of these were meant as "of the moment" jokes about a specific article.
